Intraoral Camera To Help With Treatment Plans

An intraoral camera allows our Red Bank dentists to view clear, precise images of your teeth and gums. These images allow our team to make a more accurate diagnosis and develop a better treatment plan for each patient.

Many patients struggle to understand why they need complex dental procedures when they aren’t experiencing any pain or don’t see any visual evidence that a specific procedure is needed. Intraoral cameras allow patients to see their mouth in real time rather than being shown difficult-to-understand X-rays. Now, patients can see and understand our dentist’s diagnosis with their own eyes.

Intraoral cameras are roughly the same size as a pen and are fitted with a camera and light. The camera then transmits the images to a computer screen or television monitor. You’ll be able to see right away a fractured tooth, abscess, or cavity.

  As a new patient at Navesink Dental Care today, I was highly impressed with the staff and services. I recently moved to New Jersey and, in my search for an in-network provider for my insurance, I have spoken to staff at several local practices whose employees I found to be polite but not as friendly and informative as the folks here. I also researched new patient specials online and Navesink is the best I found in that category too. Thanks to the hygienist’s tools and skill, I had no discomfort with cleaning. My exam and x-rays were thoroughly done and explained. When the dentist came in, she was not rushed and took time to answer my questions. When I checked out, the lady at the front desk gave me verbal and written information to compare insurance options and provided me with a written plan for my follow-up treatment.   I recently moved Red Bank so I needed a new dentist and my wife recommended I go where she goes, which was Navesink Dental, and I’m so happy she did. It started with Nicole at the front desk, who was greeted me with a smile and helped me get checked in. Then from there every person I seen when I walked in said hello and was extremely nice and helpful. Danielle did my filling and see did an amazing job making me feel comfortable and explaining everything as it was happening.
